Ursula Dominates in Maiden Victory at Fairgrounds

Ursula (Tapit-Debonnaire) broke her maiden in impressive fashion at Fairgrounds on November 30.  Making just her second start for owners Mt. Brilliant Stable, LLC & Orrin Ingram, and trained by Michael Stidham, Ursula drew away from her competition to graduate by 5 lengths in just her second start. Click here for the chart.

Mt. IL Paradiso

Il Paradiso got back to the winners circle on July 21st, winning the Curragh Summer Festival Handicap handily.  The son of Galileo out of Famous and bred in Kentucky by Mt. Brilliant Broodmares II, LLC was never in contention in  his previous start in the Irish Derby, but had previously impressed on his maiden win at Leopardstown.

Cardano Gets The Nod At Newmarket

Cardano added a third win in his last five starts to his 2019 record on June 29 at Newmarket.  The three-year old Oasis Dream-Astorg’s Galaxy bred by Mt. Two More Mares For Mt. Brilliant

Mt. Brilliant brought home two new mares from the Keeneland November Breeding Sale, Gypsy Princess (Hip # 808) and Miss Exclusive (Hip #898).  Both mares are by Unbridled’s Song, the former a young daughter of multiple graded stakes winner Buffythecenterfold and and the later young daughter of Champion grass mare Intercontinental.

Mt. Brilliant Brings Home Strike Charmer

Mt. Brilliant purchased the lovely bay mare Strike Charmer (Hip No. 212) at the opening session of the 2018 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.  The hardy race mare is a multiple graded stakes winner and is in foal to Tapit on a March cover.
