Mt. Brilliant brought home two new mares from the Keeneland November Breeding Sale, Gypsy Princess (Hip # 808) and Miss Exclusive (Hip #898). Both mares are by Unbridled’s Song, the former a young daughter of multiple graded stakes winner Buffythecenterfold and and the later young daughter of Champion grass mare Intercontinental.
Mt. Brilliant purchased the lovely bay mare Strike Charmer (Hip No. 212) at the opening session of the 2018 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. The hardy race mare is a multiple graded stakes winner and is in foal to Tapit on a March cover.
Mt. Brilliant had a great day on Sunday with the session topper, a colt by Uncle Mo – Morena, fetching $875,000 from Winchell Thoroughbreds & Phoenix Thoroughbreds and the third highest of the session a colt by Empire Maker – Apologize bringing $540,000 from Boama Corporation. Mt. Brilliant farm was able to obtain two lovely fillies from the Ballymacoll dispersal at Tattersalls on December 5. The fillies, hip #1874, Superioritycomplex and hip #1876 Abingdon will ship stateside in December. Plans for the two fillies are pending, so stay tuned.
