Dorrance, the 3 year-old colt Distorted Humor-Apologize cleared his first level 1X Allowance challenge at Oaklawn on Sunday, March 10. Set off as the second favorite, the attractive chestnut stalked the front runners in mid pack, took aim in mid stretch and drew off comfortably to win by 2 1/2 lengths. Dorrance is the second foal for the Mt. Brilliant mare Apologize who welcomed a beautiful filly by Tapit on the same day (3/10/19).
